Your first step is to get certified as a TikTok and TikTok Shop Affiliate Creator, and to complete the Instagram Certification! This section can be found in your Certifications Tab!
For now, retainer jobs are only available for TikTok, Instagram, or TikTok+Instagram content!
Important: A retainer job differs from one-time jobs—you cannot apply for it; instead, it’s by brand invitation rather than browsing the marketplace.
How Retainer Jobs Work
The brand will send you an invitation via email or in your notifications (visible in desktop mode when you log in to your account). You will also see it under your Messages tab.
Once you accept the offer, the brand will send you notifications regarding your shipping address and provide the tracking number. Once you receive the product, click the “I have the product” option under your messages with the brand.
⚠️ Please note that if the delivery address is not confirmed by the brand, the job status will not update, and this may cause confusion.
Before accepting the offer, please carefully review all job details. So when you click on "job details," you will be able to see the full details on how the content must be delivered!
Once you click on the "Job Details," you will be routed to your job calendar!
⚠️ Schedule only appears after product receipt confirmation. Delays in address confirmation can cause confusion.
Important: Please upload your content to your calendar first before posting it on your social media account. This ensures that the brand can review your video before it goes live and also allows our system to properly track your submission, helping to avoid any payment issues.
Please note that once a calendar date expires, you can no longer submit content for that day. Past dates cannot be reopened—only future scheduled dates will be available.
For example, if your contract requires 10 videos per month, submitted every 3 days, you must follow each scheduled deadline. The retainer continues until all 10 videos are completed. If the brand does not end the contract within 3 days after your 10th video, the schedule will automatically continue.
Once the brand approves your content and the URL to your post is provided, you will be paid automatically to your JoinBrands wallet, and you can withdraw the funds using your PayPal account.💸
