How to Complete TikTok Shop Jobs on JoinBrands
This guide walks you through TikTok Shop jobs on JoinBrands — from finding the job in the marketplace to posting your content and getting paid.
Step 1: Get Certified for TikTok Shop
Before applying for TikTok Shop jobs, you need to be certified as a TikTok Shop Affiliate Creator.
👉 Head to your Certifications tab to get started.
Once your TikTok Shop certification is approved, you'll be able to browse and apply for TikTok Shop jobs in the marketplace.
Step 2: Find TikTok Shop Jobs in the Marketplace
TikTok Shop jobs are listed under the Affiliates tab in the Marketplace.
Go to the Marketplace from your dashboard
Click on the Affiliates tab
Select the TikTok sub-filter to see all available TikTok Shop jobs
Browse the job cards and click on one to view full details
Click Apply and wait for the brand to approve your application
Step 3: Receive the Product
Before you begin creating content, carefully read the job instructions in full. Make sure you are 100% confident you can deliver what the brand expects.
Depending on the job, you may:
Purchase the product yourself using a provided coupon or discount code, or
Receive the product shipped to you directly by the brand
📓 Note: For TikTok Shop jobs, JoinBrands automatically verifies your order status with TikTok. Once TikTok confirms your order has been delivered, your job will automatically advance to "Product Received" — you don't need to do anything manually. If your order is cancelled on TikTok's end, the job will also be automatically cancelled and any funds will be returned to the brand.
Step 4: Create and Submit Your Content
Once you have received the product, film your TikTok Shop video following the brand's specific requirements.
Upload your content to your active job on JoinBrands for the brand to review. They will either approve it or request revisions.
Step 5: Post to TikTok
Once the brand approves your content, post it to your TikTok account.
⚠️ Important: Make sure you are logged into the TikTok account connected to your JoinBrands profile, with no other TikTok accounts active on the device.
To post using the QR code:
Tap your profile icon in the lower right corner of TikTok
Tap the three lines in the upper right corner to open the menu
Select Your QR Code
Tap the scan window in the upper right corner and scan the QR code shown on JoinBrands
⚠️ Please do not publish the content ahead of time before the brand has reviewed and approved it. You will need to submit your content through your JoinBrands job first and wait for the brand's approval before posting it on on your social media accounts.
Your published video must tag one of the campaign's products. After you publish, JoinBrands checks with TikTok that your video tags a product from the campaign, and keeps retrying for up to 4 days while TikTok indexes the video. Your job cannot be completed until this check passes.
⚠️ Missing product tag? If no campaign product is found, your job will show as missing its product tag. Edit your TikTok post so it tags one of the campaign's products, then use the button on the job to run the check again — you can clear this yourself, no need to contact support.
📓 Note: If the problem is on the brand's side — the campaign product isn't linked, the shop was never synced, or authorization was revoked — the check resolves as skipped. You will not be asked to repost, and your job is not blocked.

Step 6: Get Paid
After posting your content to TikTok, the job enters a 14-day completion window. Once this period has ended and your published video has passed the product tag check, your payment is automatically sent to your JoinBrands wallet.
To withdraw your earnings, go to your Payout Method page and connect your PayPal account.
📓 Note: You cannot submit extra content for social posting-type jobs.

June 10, 2026 — Step 3 updated to showcase new automatic TikTok order status verification. JoinBrands now automatically advances the job to "Product Received" when TikTok confirms delivery, and automatically cancels the job (with funds returned to the brand) if the order is cancelled on TikTok's end.
