What is the TikTok Certification?
As a TikTok creator, it's important to make fun and engaging videos that align with a brand's guidelines. Once you've created these videos, be sure to post them on your account and keep them active.
To qualify for TikTok video certification on JoinBrands, you need to ensure that your TikTok account is connected to your JoinBrands profile. Additionally, your account must have at least 50 active posts, which are counted only if your TikTok profile is correctly linked to JoinBrands.
Steps and Troubleshooting Tips for Getting Your TikTok Certification:
Go to your Certification section, and at the top, you will see a banner. Simply click on the button that reads Get certified.
Next, you will see the guidelines for the TikTok certification. Keep in mind that a TikTok video job requires you to create videos and post them to your TikTok account. To qualify, you must have at least 50 active posts and connect your TikTok account. Otherwise, your certification will be declined:
A new window will open asking for your authorization to connect your TikTok account to JoinBrands. Simply click on the Authorize button.
Once you've done that, you will see that your TikTok account has been connected and your certification is pending approval.
If your certification was successfully approved, you will receive a notification on your Dashboard:
Note: Remember that these notifications are only shown on a desktop. If you missed the notification in your Dashboard, you can always check it by clicking the bell icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Important: Once you are certified for TikTok, the TikTok Shop Affiliate Creator certification will be automatically granted. There is no manual option for our team to expedite this process. You will need to wait 14 days from the date of your TikTok certification. Please avoid disconnecting during this period to prevent any delays.
🚨 Important Note:
Reconnecting your TikTok account will not help you get into the TikTok Shop certification queue. In fact, it may cause system errors in other areas that rely on that connection. Please do NOT reconnect your TikTok account to try to fix TikTok Shop issues. Always contact Support instead.
