📱 For this certification, you'll simply connect your TikTok account by scanning a QR code from the JoinBrands mobile app — where your TikTok account is logged in.
If your TikTok account is disconnected, the certification process will reset, requiring up to 14 days to restart.
Certification cannot be expedited as it follows an automated timeline.
🏁 Head to your Certifications section. At the top you'll see a banner — just tap the Get certified button to start. After your TikTok account is certified, the TikTok Shop Affiliate Creator certification process starts automatically and can take up to 14 days to complete.
📌 Mobile-only certification: This certification must be completed through the JoinBrands mobile app. TikTok Shop features aren't available on desktop, so scanning the QR code or completing the process on a computer won't work. Make sure your app is updated to the latest version for full access.
🚨 Important Note: Reconnecting your TikTok account will not push you into the TikTok Shop certification queue — in fact, it can cause errors elsewhere that rely on that connection. Please do not disconnect your TikTok account to try to fix TikTok Shop issues. Contact Support instead. If your TikTok account is disconnected during the certification process, the process will reset and require up to 14 days to restart after reconnection.
