Creators: Why is my certification video now a JoinBrands logo?

Uploaded certification videos are removed after 6 months and replaced with a JoinBrands placeholder image. Your certification stays valid — there's nothing to redo.

Written by Anastasija

If you open your Certifications section and see the JoinBrands logo where your uploaded video used to be — nothing has gone wrong. 👍

Certification videos are removed 6 months after upload to save storage space, and the player is replaced with a static JoinBrands placeholder image. That placeholder is simply standing in for a file we no longer store.

✅ Your certification is still valid

Only the stored video file is deleted — your certification itself is untouched. You keep it, it stays approved, and you can keep applying to every job type it unlocks.

📌 What You Need To Do

Nothing. Really! 🙌

  • You do not need to re‑upload your video

  • You do not need to redo or re‑submit the certification

  • You do not need to contact support about it

📌 Was My Video Shown Anywhere?

No. Certification videos are only ever used internally by our review team to approve your certification — they are never displayed publicly on your profile, to brands, or anywhere on the marketplace. Once your certification is approved, the video has done its job. 🎬
