Once you have approved the Creator-generated content for your TikTok Campaign, they will post the video on their own TikTok account and will provide the URL and the TikTok Spark Code on the platform.
How to create a TikTok Spark Ad once you have the TikTok Spark Code?
Once you have received the Spark Code from the Creator, you need to follow the steps provided by the TikTok Support Team in this article.
π Note: We will show the steps found from Step 3 on Method 2 within the said article.
π Step 1: Authorize the Post in TikTok Ads Manager
From TikTok Ads Manager:
π Go to Assets > Creative > Spark Ads Posts, then click Apply for Authorization.
π Paste the video code into the search bar and click Search.
β Review the post and click Confirm.
After an authorized post is successfully added to the TikTok Ads Manager, you can create your Spark Ads.
π Step 2: Build Your Spark Ad
Once the authorized post is successfully added to your TikTok Ads Manager, you're ready to create the ad. From TikTok Ads Manager:
π― At the Campaign Level, select an Advertising Objective.
π οΈ Complete the Campaign and Ad Group settings.
π At the Ad Level, under Identity, enable Use TikTok account to deliver Spark Ads.
π€ Select the TikTok account that authorized the post you'll use as your Spark Ad's creative.
π¬ Under Ad details, click +TikTok post to select your creative.
π€ Complete the rest of the Ad Settings, then click Submit.

1. Manual video URL & Spark Code submission
Creators can now complete their TikTok jobs by manually providing their video URL and Spark Code directly on the platform if the automatic TikTok video linking flow doesn't work. As a brand, you may receive the URL and Spark Code via manual submission rather than through the automatic linking process β this is expected behaviour and does not affect your ability to use the Spark Code for ads.
