Applying to jobs and not hearing back? Don't stress β it's normal, and it doesn't mean you've been rejected. Brands review creator profiles and invite the ones that fit their campaign best. The goal is to put yourself in front of as many brands as possible and give them every reason to pick you.
π‘ Why You Might Not Be Hearing Back Yet
Most brands don't reply to every application β they scan through creator profiles and approve the ones that catch their eye. If a brand approves you, you'll get an email and a notification.
Brands also have an option to invite the creators they like. Jobs fill up fast, so when that invite comes in, act quickly and accept the job before someone else does. ππ¨
π How to Get More Jobs
There are three things you can do right now to dramatically increase your chances of being picked:
Apply to as many jobs as you can
The more jobs you apply to, the more chances you have to be selected. Don't wait for the "perfect" fit β if the product or campaign is a reasonable match for your content style, apply. Volume matters.
Get certified in as many content types as possible
Each certification you earn unlocks a new pool of jobs you can apply to. Photo, video, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Amazon β the more certifications on your profile, the more opportunities you'll have. Certifications are free, so aim to collect as many as you can.
Keep your portfolio updated
Your Portfolio is the first thing brands look at when deciding who to invite. Keep it fresh β add your best recent work, remove anything outdated, and showcase the kind of content you want to be hired for. A complete, current portfolio dramatically increases your chances of getting picked.
β οΈ One Important Reminder
Do not purchase the product before you've officially taken the job. Wait until you're confirmed and the job is in your queue β otherwise, you may end up paying for something you can't use in a job.
π Keep Going!
Apply often, certify in everything you can, and keep your portfolio looking sharp. The creators who stay active and keep their profiles polished are the ones brands invite again and again. You've got this! π
