Creators: The Brand is asking for additional edits, what should I do?

Understand what you can do if the Brand is requesting additional edits

Written by Anastasija

If a brand requests edits on your content, the first thing to do is check the request against the original brief you accepted when you picked up the job.

Additionally, if your content is rejected, the brand is required to provide specific feedback explaining the reasons for rejection. This feedback helps you understand what adjustments are needed, if any, to meet the brand's expectations.

Brands have the right to ask for revisions as long as those changes fit within the scope of the original brief β€” it's part of the process, and often it's what turns good content into great content that both sides are proud of.

We'd recommend you to ask the brand directly for a clearer understanding of their expectations! Use our built-in chat module to communicate directly with them.

If you notice inconsistencies in the campaign brief, communicate directly with the brand to clarify expectations and reach an agreement. Maintaining a professional tone can help resolve such issues effectively.

⚠️ Important: If the revision request is within the scope of the original brief, we strongly encourage you to make the changes. It gets the job approved faster, builds a strong relationship with the brand, and keeps your rating high for future opportunities. 🌟

If the brand does not respond to your revisions within 10 days, your content will be automatically approved, ensuring your efforts are recognized.

For example, if your content is rejected due to guideline violations, review the rejection reason provided in your content tab, make the necessary adjustments, and re-upload the content for review. Always ensure your revised content complies with the guidelines to avoid further rejections.

If the request feels outside the original brief, or you're unsure how to handle the situation, reach out to our Brand & Creator Assistance Team in chat β€” we'll help you figure out the best way forward. 😊
