What Are Counter Offers?
When you invite a creator to collaborate on a job, they now have the option to submit a counter offer — requesting a higher payout than your original offer.
This allows creators to share the value they believe they can bring to your campaign.
How It Works
Send an invitation: You invite a creator to your job as usual.
Receive a counter offer notification:
If a creator wishes to negotiate, you’ll receive a notification letting you know they’ve submitted a counter offer.
You might also see a custom pitch video or examples of their past work, helping you understand why they’re asking for a higher rate.
Review and decide:
✅ Accept the counter offer — the creator will be paid the new rate they requested.
❌ Reject the counter offer — the creator can still choose to complete the job at your original offer price.
What Happens After You Respond
If you accept: The creator’s payout will automatically update to the new counter offer amount.
If you reject: The creator can still accept your original offer if they wish to proceed.
Where can I see counter offers?
You can see the counter offers directly from your campaign, in the Counter Offer section:
If you click on the counter offer:
There will be a slide window on the right side of your screen where you can see the creator pitch and approve or reject the counter offer!
This new feature allows you, as a brand, and JoinBrands creators to enter the negotiation regarding the job.
Please note that the counter offers are available if allowed in the campaign creation process:
Good to know: Only Level 2 & Level 3 creators can counter offer you!
⚠️ Important: if your campaign has 10 jobs and you accept a counter offer for an 11th, you’ll be billed for that 11th job.
Availability: Counter offers are available only for Content + Posting, Content Only & Blast Campaigns.
